This universal fabric fastening is extremely versatile and has a number of uses in lower extremity Orthoses.  Uses include as strapping for AFOs or DAFOs and as an easy fastening for footwear.

It can also be used to hold an insole or pad inside a shoe, buy putting the hook on one part and the loop on the other and then fixing with double sided adhesive tape. The insole can then be moved easily between different pairs of the patients shoes, positioned correctly without causing discomfort.
